When offering suggestions for weekend activities I was surprised that Anna Grace voted for a third visit to a Hun Festival in Lower Austria. Never second-guess a Teenager? Really, though, the light activity was a perfect complement to the day’s extremely warm temperatures. Schloss Asparn hosts the festival, and it’s always worth a visit to their outdoor museum of ancient cultures, as well.
The riding demonstration is the highlight. The riders are Mongolian.
Because she is obviously important, she had no issue stepping in front as I was taking a snap, AND remaining to record the entire performance. I, of course, had to reposition myself.

Toward evening we made our way to the Ringstraße to catch the Vienna Class Days parade of vintage vehicles before heading to dinner. A different kind of horsepower, if you will.
