Spreading my wings a bit.
A few that I missed sharing from late winter/early spring.
Easy to detect. Difficult to snap.
Why yes, I came downstairs one morning to find a little frog in our kitchen. At 0530 or so, and before coffee I donned shoes and grabbed a flashlight, hoping dearly that none of my neighbors might see me walking down the street, in my pajamas, toward the creek to repatriate the little amphibian.
Nuisance at my window.
The Eastern Box Turtle just passing through. So much nature on our property.
Honestly, it’s like Little House in the Big Woods around here.
To wrap up this episode, my obsession with Gray Herons has not diminished since moving back across the pond.
